Looks like the time line for Harris and Dallas county will be very slow.

I didn’t want to do it, but here I am.

As of today I am now at 102 days. I don't know if this is due to the indiscretions of my youth, or just the glue like slowness of the bureaucracy. Either way they keep saying it’s the local background check that is slowing things down. Hooray Hidalgo county!
Hidalgo County

Keep your hopes up.

I am leaving this little club (plastic arrived today after 111 days). How did I (and my wife) get so lucky? Goodness knows, I am just happy with the fact that we have some plastic in hand (even if the city name is spelled incorrectly on one of them....mine of course!).

I am at day 145 as many others are just behind me or waiting much more than me. I have Googled everything I can think of about the CHL. Why is there no news coverage to this problem? Rather they admit it or not, it is a huge problem, and they are breaking the law.
