You are correct on no printing law.
Failure to conceal is reckless, careless & intentional. One of the legal eagles should post the statute :rules: but this has been hashed several times & we are :deadhorse: again.

I try to hide it well because I dont want anyone to know I am carying. However I have a military style hair cut and many people ask me if I am a cop and they dont even notice that I am armed. So if someone did notice maybe they thought I was off duty.

I agree... :deadhorse:

Just put it on, cover it up, don't mess with it and go about your day as usual..NO one will ever know the difference. :thumbs2:

jeremya wrote:Thanks guys! I have carried several times with my OWB holster and in a few days (Christmas) I will have my IWB holster. I can't wait to try out the IWB (M-TAC) the OWB holster I have from Comp-Tac rides a bit too high to be comfortable.

So far every time I have carried I felt like there was a spotlight on me. I guess it's just going to take a little time... I think the new holster will help as well.

Another quick question... do most people carry a spare mag in a mag holster or no?

thanks,

Jeremy

with 5.11 covert khakis you can carry 4 mags pretty easily..

I suspect that few folks would be interested in posting pictures of their guns/holsters with their shirts lifted to show and with their shirts down (assuming that the shirt is covering). A series of photos showing various folks methods of carry would be educational for us newbs, but like I said, I suspect that most would not want that sort of thing on the net. What goes on the net is soooo public.

Beiruty, would you mind terribly if I used those pics as examples in CHL class? Very good examples of how to do it. :txflag:

Thanks, even looking for the gun, I couldn't tell where it was. Even after the revealing photos, I'd scroll back up and it wasn't obvious.

Thanks

Not at all. Feel free to do so. The third set, has obvious tell tale of side carrying but not no printing. It is 5.11 undercover shirt, it does fit me and if I carrying I should have ordered +1 size or after the fact, I should lose 20 lbs!

Kimber Pro w/ Polo shirt WIB

Covered up. I had pepper & a mag on the off side & they show more "Print" than the gun.

Shoulder rig. Kimber Pro again in Alessi Bodyguard

Covered w/ only a vest. You can cover shoulder rig w/ WAY less than most folks think.

OWB is the way I carry most of the time & still cover w/ a vest. Springer that I just sold. (Need to get some pics w/ the Nork) Dont have a cover pic after this one but still use the above vest & others like it.

I was thinking about getting some Guayabera (Mexican Wedding Shirts) in dark colors. They're not meant to be tucked in and I'm a largish guy. I LOVE Hawaiian shirts in dark colors too. I think I'd have a hard time pulling off the vest look.
