Cool, does that mean they discount weekends and holidays when it comes to 30 days for renewing your driver's license? "rlol" No? Didn't think so, so I am not discounting them for this either. It doesn't say business days

Many congrats on the CHL. Sorry it took so long .... but at least you have it in hand.

Pretty much.

"I'm so-and-so and I have a question regarding your application" was the message left on voicemail

Well, Wally walk under my belt now. Not a big seal except no matter how much you know your concealed, you can't help thinking with all the eyes around that you need to check occasionally. I did head over to the ammo and to my surprise, thay had tons of 9mm. However, no one around the counter! :banghead: I decided to go ahead and shop and come back because surely they can't be gone too long. Well, I returned and no salesperson in sight. I can't wait now because my frozen foods and ice cream will melt. ;-) Oh well, I'll go by tomorrow I guess.

At lunch today, the guy in front of me ordered his food and water. I noticed it because many of my friends order water because they don't want to pay for tea etc. Anyway, I'm telling my friend that I got my CHL today and he asked me if I was carrying. I told him I was. After we paid, I saw the guy in front of me filling his "water" glass with lemonaid!! I told my friend and he said, Shoot him! :fire I thought of shooting the glass out of his hand or saying Hey! get on the floor with my Glock trained on him and then, someone call the manager! ... Decided not to. :smilelol5:

Well I'm still waiting. I'm to the point where I'm not going to even bother checking status anymore. I'm headed to Oregon next week and I've decided that while I'm there I will hop over to Washington and get a non-resident license from them. They say it's 60 days for non-residents, so I figure there is a good chance that I may get that one in the mail before i get my TX license. And then I'll at least be able to carry in TX with my Washington license. I'm glad for all that have received theirs. I can't wait till I can say "I'm outta this thread" too!! :)
