The "printer delay" is a crap response as I posted in the angry letter thread, my license was sent to the printer on July 14th and got shipped out July 16th.

I will add, as a fifth circumstance in the situation of the House of Representatives, restraining them from oppressive measures, that they can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as on the great mass of the society. - J Madison, Federalist #57

Well after 119 days my license arrived in the mail today. I stuck it my wallet for now, the wife and I are going to California for a vacation, so I didn't think I would be carrying in California. I'll have my fun when we get back :txflag: .

it seems that " Harris " is a dirty word
Should change it to Harass County... :grumble
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

I was told mine was sent to the printer last week and it could be 2-4 weeks before it comes back. I hope I luck out and see it before that. Day 101...but who's counting.

113 days today. I can't check my status online because I am not a Texas resident and don't have a Texas DL or ID. I called today and was told that my application was approved and waitting on the license to be printed. I was given the same 2-4 weeks response when I asked how long.

usa1: This sort of disproves the 'they only update once a day, at midnight' theory...

Apparently they Can update mid-day!

(Now you can actually say you checking 5+ times a day is justified)

SWEET! Just checked and my status also changed to "Application Complete - license issued". Now I only have to rely on the ever efficient US Postal Service...perfect example of government efficiency. Hopefully they don't lose my envelope on it's way to Kansas.
