"Survivor, Texas-Style."

#1

Post by Medino »

Due to the popularity
of the
"Survivor" shows, Texas is planning to do one
entitled,

"Survivor, Texas-Style."

The contestants will all start in Dallas , then drive to
Waco , Austin , San Antonio , over to Houston and down to
Brownsville . They will then proceed up to Del Rio , El Paso ,
Midland , Odessa , Lubbock and Amarillo . From there they will
go on to Abilene , Fort Worth
and finally back to Dallas .

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with bumper stickers that
reads:

"I'm Gay,"

"I love the Dixie Chicks,"

"Boycott Beef,"

"I Voted for Obama,"

" George Strait Sucks,"

"Hillary in 2012"

and

"Ban all guns"

The first one to make it back to Dallas alive wins.

God Bless Texas :txflag:

Meh, drop them off in Compton in Hawaiian shirts and a tourist map in their hands. Whoever survives wins. :reddevil

I'd love to see the episode where they try the opposite through NY/NJ.

That'd be a hoot.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty funny. The residents of the town embarrassed themselves far more than the folks from Top Gear.

They probably drove around until they got a reaction they thought TV worthy.

Responsible people who don't act like jerks don't get on TV shows all that often.

It's funny that despite the foreigners' prejudices and comments about Bush and religion early in the video, the thing that really got the people in Alabama mad was the foreigners insulting NASCAR and country music.
