Governor Perry Visits Larue Tactical......

#1

Post by AggieMM »

Image

I saw this on another forum, thought I'd share. :tiphat:
Gov. Perry had his Team give us a call and ask for a facility visit ... of course we were more than much obliged.

We got some good pics I want to share here.

The Governor was extremely interested in manufacturing and to my delight, understood what he was looking at. He's also a high-time pilot.

.....

Nice having a Governor that can load and empty mags and doesn't call 'em "clips".

All funnin' aside, thanks Gov. Perry, for giving LaRue Tactical the honor of your visit.

M. LaRue

Brings a whole new meaning to the "Don't Mess with Texas" slogan, doesn't it?

It sure sounds like Perry has the "Firearms Freedom Act" in his mind. I wonder what he's up to. :headscratch

Maybe a plan for the upcoming special session? :txflag:

That's pretty cool except for the fact he isn't wearing any eye protection.

I was always taught it was bad to put pressure on the mag like that, but I see more and more people doing it...

Photographer most likely set that pic up and didn't like the yellow safety glasses! Notice the spotter isn't wearing safety glasses either.

The thread linked above has the LaRue rep posting that Perry started by wearing the eye protection, but then took them off and "grumbled something".

I was always told that in the Marine Corps also, but I always shot Expert and continue to grab the magazine or the well to this day.

Hmmm. Bench looks a little wimpy to me!

Wonder if they sell plans for the bench and if I order a set, if they come with the free tactical beverage access tool?

I use a 30rd mag like a mono pod when shooting from prone. Never been a problem.

Governor Blowdry messing up his hair? I'm shocked.

:yawn I'd be more impressed if he'd actually got behind the two bills that were effectively killed. Did they do anything besides waste perfectly good oxygen this time?
