This is from Dallas County. Looks like they are getting NTX BG checks done quickly.

Im on day 82. I asked my state rep's office to call and ask about my app and the aid called me back and said that the two supervisors she usually talks to were on vacation...VACATION?!?!?!

Listen to a news story today on the radio about the doubling of CHL applications this year. Said March apps were over 11,000, double from same time last year. The story also talked about the wait time doubling or tripling.

I am starting to see March apps getting approved. I'm in Bexar country and was born out of state so that may be adding to my delay. Status is still processing application.

I emailed DPS last week regarding the status of my application. Heard back 9 days later and it is awaiting printing! Website still says processing app so I will wait to update my stuff, but can see the end of the rainbow. Was really hoping to have it by this weekend, but it looks like I'm just going to miss it.
