I load so I have SEVERAL thousand rds of everything except .380 for the ladies. about 600 there now.
38sp is real low too but I have them here to load.
BTW when is the group buy on bullets coming up???????
Bullets as in reloading, or bullets as in rounds/ammo? If ammo, can I get in on that deal for 9mm??

someone please check for me, but I think I just saw wolf 7.62x39 at CTD for less than 5 bucks a box....It was exactly 11.79 per box a WEEK ago (I checked) and around 17 a box a month or so ago.

A side note, when the swine flu was such a big deal a while back, they had masks on "sale" for 69.99 for generic masks (with some sort of stupid vent)

They probably sole 10,000 masks at that price, but now, that swine flu is an afterthought, they are like 10 bucks?

CTD will never see another dime of my money, I don't care if they decide to sell the cheapest ammo in the world.

Yesterday, got an email from Ammoman saying they have Military Classic Wolf 7.62x39 JHP by the truckload. IF you care for hollow point rifle rounds. I did not find them quite as accurate as soft point or full metal jacket.

We just received a truckload of Wolf 7.62x39
These monthly trucks usually last a week :)
We are offering this ammo "ON SALE"
Military classic 7.62x39 jacketed hollow point.

$325-1000
$1500-5,000
$2,990-10,000

Yeah...he is really coming up with a big favor there. 325 bucks for ammo he was selling for 189 8 months ago. I really wish I could think of some way to show him my sincere appreciation.

You're correct: $4.97 per box of 20, 122-grain, polymer-coated steel case. That's 24.9 cents per round, and a good price currently...but it's already backordered. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM631-5.html

Sportsman's Guide does seem to have some of the same in stock by the case, either HP or FMJ, for $299.22 (club price) plus shipping, or 29.9 cents per round plus shipping: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=217522.

Cabela's had Wolf Military Classic 124-grain, poly-coated steel case, FMJ for $284.99 per 1,000, but it's also backordered. If you're in Texas, of course, CTD and Cabela's will charge sales tax and, if you can't pick it up, shipping. Sportsman's Guide may be pretty much an equivalent value right now and, for the moment, it seems to be in stock.

I actually have found 45, 9mm, 38 special and 22lr lately, but .380 is still kinda hard to get.

I was starting to think that Wal-Mart forgot what ammo was. Everytime I go to Wal-Mart they are empty!!!

I know what you mean! I called Wal-Mart at Randol Mill & Collins in Arlington at 7:30 this morning. They got in some .45 but by 7:15am it was gone. It's not worth it driving around hunting for it....it just wastes gas, and that's getting expensive too nowadays.

FWIW: Winchester Gallery in F.W. has about 50 boxes of 9mm in stock. I called right after they opened, and they had 24 at the time. When I was there they received 6 boxes of ammo in from UPS, and more 9mm came in, along with other pistol ammo. They are trying to limit sales to 1 box per customer. Yup, ONE(1) box per customer. But that may change.

So I highly suggest you call before going over there(817-496-3133). Their limit might have increased to 2 boxes.
