The ammo is the Corbon PowRball - I worry about expansion coming out of a short barrel, and the PowRball is a really good load that WILL expand.

My younger bro is thinking about a PT145 Pro for a secondary. Got me interested in them. Are you happy with it for the price?

not sure who you are asking,,but i am very pleased with mine. so far i've put about 300 rounds through it with not a single problem....once you get familiar with the sights, you can get pretty tight groups. even with double taps and rapid fire.tfrazier wrote:My younger bro is thinking about a PT145 Pro for a secondary. only cost me $ 349.00 with stainless slide.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
For the price it is a good gun and very accurate, too. Light enough to carry, and the weight is balanced enough that there's very little muzzle flip. I just couldn't adjust to the sights or to the trigger (wheelguns and 1911s have me spoiled), and I wasn't willing to have pistols with mixed sight types where I'd have to think on the fly about sight picture.tfrazier wrote:My younger bro is thinking about a PT145 Pro for a secondary. That's just me, though. I know lots of people swear by their 145s, and I'd trust their judgment. The guy I sold mine to is very happy with it.

Over 400 trouble free rounds in my 145. It makes a very nice carry piece IMO. If my plastic ever gets here....I'll be carrying mine daily.

Here is my Daily carry....
A Dan Wessson CBOB In a Comp Tac MTAC (not pictured) with old fashioned Federal Hydra Shoks....
Wilson Mags (the finest mags on at least the first 3 planets)...
Tagua holster is only used at the range, family gatherings, mowing the lawn or around the house...
I also carry a .380 with Hornady Critical Defense (when I need something really small or lightweight or when other guns are at the Smithy.....)

Agreed on that. I have 2 currently, going to pick up a few more. They're the only ones I trust completely.that1otherdude wrote: Wilson Mags (the finest mags on at least the first 3 planets)...

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Hey Rmartin, looks like you have both of the guns I'm considering for my next CHL pistol purchase - a baby Glock or a Walther PPS .... I posted a discussion thread to get feedback on these two guns ... http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... 23&t=24072" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;rmartin wrote:Daily
not everyday
Would love to know your thoughts on pro & cons of each.
Thanks
