Galveston trip

#1

Post by will381796 »

I'll be taking a trip to Galveston Sunday to take part in a conference and will be staying at the Moody Garden's hotel. Anybody have any information on 30.06 restrictions at the hotel, or at any of the businesses/attractions nearby? I plan on carrying at the conference but just want to make sure the hotel itself is not posted 30.06. Thanks.

I have been in the Moody Gardens Hotel within the last 18 months or so. There were no postings other than "no pets." I have never seen a valid 30.06 sign anywhere, period. Enjoy.

Anyone who is coming to Galveston and wants to visit with me, just send me a private message. I'm not half as mean in person as I may come across online.

You're welcome. I hope you enjoy your trip. Moody Gardens is quite a nice place, despite being flooded during Ike. The aquarium is well worth whatever they charge to get in (IMHO, etc.)

Mom & I stayed at the hotel a few years ago. There was a programmable safe in our room. I didn't see any postings.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
