Re: February Applications
Well USPS shows that DPS recieved my corrected info this morning. I just talked to Steve and he said it takes up to three weeks to get it back into processing after they get the info back.
Since I'm sitting at the 60 day mark since they originally recieved my packet, I believe I will be talking to my state rep & senator about that....

Re: February Applications
if you got an incomplete message, your time stops. Technically when they get the corrected info and it changes to processing, it starts your 60-day clock again. In practice, they seem to just resume your old timeframe. I emailed DPS about mine last week and got this update. SO in my case, 3/6->3/25 + 4/6->present. The clocks start when it changes to "processing application" not when you get the return receipt, unfortunately. The "return receipt" -> "processing time" can by law be up to 30 days (which i think they are trying to correct by revising the legislation)

Re: February Applications
Couldn't agree with you more. This really has nothing to do with being patient as mush as it does with a "system" that does not do what its suppose to do. To think we actually pay someones salary to go into the system and enter "processing", "incomplete", or "issued". Why not shut that down and use that persons time in a more productive manner? Its suppose to be a feel good but quite frankly its insulting. In the real world companies fail for not being efficient....... well, at least until the latest administration.retired_noeta wrote:Ok, Really, what is the pin number for??? There really is nothing to check is there? It is just going to say processing until it sayes issued, right? What a waste of time.
Re: February Applications
They should take a look at the Domino's pizza website. If you order online you can watch the status change from prep to cooking to boxing to delivery. This would probably cut down on the phone calls asking about status. But that would be too easy though

Re: February Applications
very nice, we have near identical date information so I'm hoping to be not too far behind.ls6tt wrote:Sent them an email yesterday, got a reply today saying they are waiting on the printing of my license.
I've refrained from emailing/calling just to see how it all plays out vs others from February.

Re: February Applications
We all wish that was the norm, but for many 80+ days or more has been very common. Hopefully, your experience will be better than mine.ikishk wrote:57days? Isnt that the norm?DarrenB wrote:Wow, that was quick! Why so much quicker than some of the rest of us?Ghostdiver wrote:February 10 to April 8
