My first 1911

#1

Post by Derekhie »

I decided to go by some shops today just to look around. I really was wanting to find some ammo when something caught my eye. I've been looking on the web trying to decide what 1911 I would like and even printed out one of my choices. Well after I saw this gun I went home to do a little research on it and sure enough it was the same gun I had made the print out of. So I hopped back into the truck, went back to the shop, and bought my first 1911. I had the front site changed at the shop to a Dawson fiber optic sight and headed to the range. I ran 150 rounds through without a flaw. Needless to say, very happy.

Got it for $929.00 + tax. Price seemed pretty good considering the way gun sales are going right now.
