If you'd seen some of the crappy CB mounting methods I saw as a mobile comms installer, you'd be amazed that more people aren't killed by flying CBs in minor wrecks.

For all the faults, though, flash memory is tough. If a GPS were found, I'd bet data could be pulled from it.
