Mine too. Hopefully that will change. Our company has a mfg. center in Oklahoma and since their version of the Texas SB730 passed they had to remove the sign. Has been talk about removing from the Dallas and Houston facilities just to keep standard across the board.

no posting at my job. I don't think they let the rent-a-cop have a gun though, so I'm always curious what his role really is. why have an unarmed "security" guard? what exactly are they securing and how?

Mine posts the parking lot and the badged entry area's. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

They also prohibit weapons per company policy and will terminate if you refuse a search of your vehicle. :banghead: :banghead:

I don't know anyone who has had their vehicle searched so far but the possibility exists.

It's cheaper than hiring enough actual receptionists to cover 24x7.

Yesterday I noticed a bulge on a lady whom I've been friends and worked with for years, but we never talked about guns. I told her she was printing and she laughed and said she had a CHL, I felt like I was 5, I told her I would show her mine if she showed me hers : . It made me wonder who else here carries? I really thought I was the only one, when I got my CHL I asked the owner if it was ok and he said sure, just keep it quiet, and I have.

I pastor Jubilee Baptist Church in the Mega Metropolice of Diboll, Texas, & we do not post.
Several carry. Close to 10% of our Sunday morning crowd will be armed. Sunday night that % will go up due to the attendance drop off.
Since January I have trained 4 that have gone for their class & have a ladies training Thursday evening. 3 for sure & one more hopeful that has never shot a gun in her life. :patriot:

Mine does.
:mad5

Do these companies really think some stupid sign or policy is going to prevent something from happening?

I was at a business yesterday that had a ghost buster. The Mgr. was asking me about defense & CHL. I got the opportunity to talk to the person about the sign & legalities of proper posting of 30-06. They agreed that a BG would never enven look for the sign let alone obey it. Final parting statement was "I am glad there are people like you on our streets."

One victory. :thewave :woohoo :patriot:

We are not posted. However our employee handbook prohibits weapons on company property including company owned vehicles "without written consent".

Ask the CEO and he will give written consent. As he stated, this was to satisfy our liability insurance requirements. I carry every day.

No posting but employee manual prohibits carrying. Wording is not extremely clear as to whether you can have one in your car, but everyone does. There's a company "sponsored" gun club (among 100 other clubs) so I think they're not hard anti. I hate clubs in general, so haven't joined that one, but might if I thought they could push to have the carry prohibition removed from the manual.
