Slow Confirmation From DPS

#1

Post by braztex »

Ok, Has anyone had an issue like this? Applied and paid for my paperwork prior to taking my CHL class. Took the class and mailed paperwork back to DPS February 9th. Today is the 25th and the tracking webpage says they still haven't received it. Are they that back logged? Guess it's in a pile on someones desk!.

No, I just sent it "First Class". Probably should have done it certified.

They do not update their website status as often as they should.
I think they do it weekly.

Seems like they update the website in batches. Possibly how they begin to process applications, also. Just hang in there - if you think waiting to see how long before it says "Processing Application" is torture, I don't envy you with the next step. :cryin

I did call them today and they told me that presently it takes about 4-6 weeks from the time I mail it before it starts getting processed. Oh well, I guess good things are worth waiting for !!
