Just received an email from my Representative's office:
Dear Mr. kirock7, DPS called this afternoon and said your application was approved today and will be in the mail tomorrow. Let me know if you do not receive it within the next couple days. If you need anything else at all, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Finally got the call from Austin, my license is in overnight mail today

Packet recvd by DPS oct 14, sent back for photo signature, my error
recvd and processing application Nov 19
4 phone calls to state reps aide, in Jan
1 email to DPS asking for a hearing date. 2 18 09
license issued 02 10 09

Well my app was complete last Saturday. Sure takes a long time to mail a letter from Austin to San Antonio. I could have ridden my bicycle up there and back faster. :totap:

Woooooooo Hoooooooooooo, got mine in the mail 2/19/09. I was at the 90 day time frame. That might be the norm now. I emailed my State Rep and got a call 2 days later with my update on the application. They got things done, might work for those who are still waiting. Good luck.
