Re: Pictures of your "Black Guns"
Over the Thanksgiving weekend I drove to San Antonio to visit with family. My brother brought over his new "black guns" so they could be properly introduced to mine. Unfortunately there was not enough time to hit the range and try them out. The two on the left are his and the two on the right are mine.
From left to right we have: (1) Rock River Arms AR15, (2) Arsenal SLR107F, (3) Remington 870, (4) Bushmaster AR15.

Isn't that cute? It looks like they are all making nice with one another. May they enjoy lifelong friendships together.Lodge2004 wrote:The two on the left are his and the two on the right are mine.

Re: Pictures of your "Black Guns"
So I've finally got something in the "Evil Black Gun" configuration.
Remington 870 Express Synthetic 7-Round, fitted with a Knoxx SpecOps stock, Knoxx PowerPak System cheek piece/shell holder, and Vero Vellini sling.

Re: Pictures of your "Black Guns"
Too bad I don't have it anymore, but we donated our Belgian-made BAR (my dad brought it back from Europe in 1945) to the military museum at Camp Mabry in Austin a few years ago. Dunno if they have it on display or not.
When Dad brought it back, my grandpaw plugged the breech with a thin wafer of brass which made it a DEWAT to satisfy the FBI. Of course, the plug could easily be punched out with a cleaning rod.
I used to play "Army" with it in the 1950s when the neighborhood kids refought WWII back in the "woods" at Jefferson Barracks in St.Louis. Dang thing was pretty heavy for an 11 year old kid to tote around. I let the other kids use the two Mauser 98ks, the Nambu pistol, and an assortment of German & Brit helmets....along with a couple of DEWAT grenades & US Army packs & web belts. None of the adult neighbors gave us a second glance.
Good times
It looked just like this, except without the barrel handle:

Here is some of my spread that came out to pose for the camera. Top left is a CAI CETME, top right is Arma-lite A2 20", bottom right is a Smith M&P15 with a few adds on it, and my new Lancaster Ak in tan finish. Single shot 20ga, pump Mossberg 500, a Springfield GI 1911, Beretta PX4 9mm, and Gen 2 Glock 19. Just a few of the family.
