Taco Cabana customer services department response

Re: Taco Cabana customer services department response
I was at a Taco Cabana in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago. It was on the north east side on Blanco, can't remember exactly where. They didn't have a 30.06 or any other type of anti CHL sign.

I do not think it is fair to hold Diana Smith responsible for knowing what signs is put up by the local manager. I credit her for not ignoring my email and then responding with intention to correct the matter. I say thumbs up for Taco Cabana!

I'm with you jart. Can't tell what the original timeline was, but from the side of those legally carrying, her response was positive.jart wrote:I do not think it is fair to hold Diana Smith responsible for knowing what signs is put up by the local manager. BTW, I RARELY go to Taco Cabana, but never noticed 30.06.

Re: Taco Cabana customer services department response
Well, considering that there are 15 Taco Cabana stores listed on Texas3006.com, I've personally debunked one that's still listed, and almost all of the rest of them are listed as non-compliant posting, maybe someone should get crazy and re-evaluate these other locations?

Re: Taco Cabana customer services department response
I am thankful for the positive response. I love Taco Cabana and would hate to think that I would have to stop going! Been to a bunch of them and have never seen the 30.06 signs in DFW or San Antonio.

Re: Taco Cabana customer services department response
The local TC in Cedar Park does not have a compliant 30.06 sign but they do have a "Weapons Prohibited" sign with some vague, non-compliant wording.
Here's my question:
Does this response from TC customer service constitute an invitation for us to notify the individual that stores have some kind of "no guns" sign even if it is not a compliant 30.06 sign? Does this indicate TC has a corporate policy not to [attempt to] prohibit guns on in their stores?

You don't need to hit the stores in Lewisville. They're not posted. Neither the one at Vista Ridge that is listed on the 3006 site (I commented on the listing but the original poster hasn't removed it) nor is the one on Main Avenue. I live less than 5 minutes from the Main location and drive by the Stemmons one all the time. Don't let that STOP you if you're looking forward to that much Taco Cabana food...just saying it's not NECESSARY. LOL
Re: Taco Cabana customer services department response
The sign at the TC in Cedar Park is not in a place where you would normally notice it. It is on a bulletin board on the wall perpendicular to the counter, behind the counter. That's where they have everything "posted" including their "unlicensed possession" sign and their liquor license, etc.
So the signs may be harder to find in some TC stores.

I'd say so. I would say, that, if this is from as High Up the corporate ladder as can be, then I would take this as Taco Cabana's corporate position to not ban CHL holders.mr.72 wrote: Does this indicate TC has a corporate policy not to prohibit guns on in their stores?
and I would make a point to get a bean and cheese taco there with the salsa verde.....
maybe some chips and queso wouldn't hurt.....
just one Burrito Ultimo won't completely ruin my diet...
right????
btw, thanks Morgan. you and I used to live so close it's ridiculous. I usedta reside on valley parkway, off of main...

Re: Taco Cabana customer services department response
I sent a PM to the author of that entry, requesting he verify and revise the posting. I'm not sure how Russell wants to proceed without an answer from the OP, but I'd bet if we get no answer and another person verifies the absence of the sign, we can likely just modify the entry to reflect the change.Morgan wrote:DoubleJ wrote:I will personally make it my endavour to run recon on the Denton, and 2 Lewisville stores, this weekend.
