I will stick with my LCP, but as with all pocket pistols now I am sure this dandy will find a decent amount of buyers. Meet the Micro Eagle...

All the other features of the P3AT, at only twice the weight and price.

It also looks better built.

This baby is a blowback design. The P3AT is locked breech.

Looks real similar to an AMT Backup.

So it has a teensie-weensie rotating bolt?

If they made it in some of the serious calibers the AMT was available in, I'd be interested, but it's just another .380.

I can't see delayed blowback making much difference in a caliber that weak, or a barrel too short for any significant accuracy.

Kahr is coming out with a 380 that looks to me like it will will be the best of them all.

I just purchased a Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle and I've already had it to the range twice. For such a small gun it shoots extremely accurate. I was very surprised by this. It was a little pricey but if it continues to perform like this then all I can say is What A Gun!

Welcome to the forum.

What kind of grouping do you get at what range?

The problems with small .380s mostly involve feeding or ejection. It will be interesting to hear your experience with this new model.

All were within 3 inches at 7 yards. I did have one FTF but I'm hopping that works itself out as the gun breaks in.

Was that failure to feed or failure to fire?

It was a failure to feed. Just gave the slide a little push and that was it. So far that was the only time.

Here's a pocket pistol design that really looks interesting . . . if it ever goes into production.

What kind of ammo?

That sounds like a typical break-in problem.
