Welcome!

Just read some more of the First Time Pistol Buyer thread and should you decide on a GLOCK 19, I think you will be very happy with it should it fit your hands well. I have one and love it, although I've only put about 1,250 rounds through it since I first inherited it in February.

Just found this forum and decided to register.
Name is Dave Pirtle, I live in D/FW TX. I am 38 years old and I work as a Federal Correctional Officer in ft. Worth. Thanks to the LEOSA Law signed into effect I can legally carry concealed in all 50 states. still have to abide by all the State laws. Figured I could learn quite a bit off this site. Hopefully I can contribute when I have something relevant to say.
Thanks,
Dave

Welcome, bro.!

I'm a hack at FCI Texarkana. There's someone on the forum whose wife works at Bastrop, but I forget who it is.

Everywhere except to work. :mad5 We're working on that, though.

Yeah, you can't carry when you really need it, when you are going home after work at midnight and have to stop at Walmart for milk:)

Welcome tx50. You should have plenty to contribut working where you do. Some of us never learned to think like a crook so do not know how to prepare for it or see it coming. We will draw on your experience. Glad to have you aboard.
