At Dicks' Sportings: UMC 9mm are $79.8 per 500 rounds. that is $0.16/rd. I grabbed what I need. Remington is does give $10 for $100.

There isn't anywhere in the Houston area offering ANY deals on ammo right now. Dick's sounds like a good place to shop, I just wish we had one around.

I still think we should show support to http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php.

I went with the Monarch so I could get the brass cases. The Academy in Plano off Central, was sold out after I bought the last 7 boxes.

If you do not plan on reloading the cases, I'd get the Blazer. Cleaner powder and little more powder I think. My Taurus wouldn't feed the Monarch either.

Definitely Blazer. The Monarch is not hot enough to cycle the slide on my Sigma, never tried it in the real-stiff Kahr. Only took one box.

That's not a bad deal for the Blazer. I think I'll pick some up. I usually go for WWB 100-packs from Wal Mart.

I picked up a few of those WWB 100 packs from wally-world the other day, not a bad deal. Thanks for the warning about the Monarch, I might just get one to see how it works in my XD. I went to two different locations last night and they were sold out of both blazer and monarch... leave me some guys!

I think the cheapest 40 my wal mart is about $17 a box for 50 rounds, and I haven't seen any of the 100 round boxes since I bought an entire case a couple of months back.

Walmart near me in Plano had it for 23.00 and some change in the 100 round white box. The darned place told me they couldn't sell ammo after 10 at night, so I didn't buy any.

No way... I'm in Plano. Which Walmart? Hopefully they have some left time I get off work tomorrow. I've been documenting the prices I see, and lowest I saw that was $28 at another Walmart in Southlake.
