Iraqi Wedding
It was a lot more safe when they only had swords.

Re: Iraqi Wedding
You know I saw this awhile back and thought it was fake, but never saw the full footage that you posted.
What a shame.
Shows some major ignorance on the gun owners ( maybe father ) part.

Re: Iraqi Wedding
I looked at this slowed way down and there seem to be either of two things happening.
The (what the heck can you call that idiot anyway?) guy who fires the gun to start with seems surprised when it doesn't fire a second time, he looks at it and the slide closes, and he then seems satisfied that it has run dry.
1) Possibly he limp wristed the gun, causing the slide to stop as it cycled, and then it picked up the round and went into battery.
2) Possibly he hit the slide catch, locking the slide open, and then hit it again and it picked up a round and went into battery.
Either way he seems to think that the gun has run dry and then lets the kid play with it.
It looks to me alot like scenario two, he seems to hit the slide catch as he twists the gun to the side, but it's really hard to tell.

Re: Iraqi Wedding
Wow.
What kind of idiot hands a live gun to a (looks like about 3-year-old) child in the middle of a crowded wedding?
Looked like a Hi-Power, too. Pity.
I wonder if he survived. Poor kid.

I hope he didn't live through it, and I certainly hope his offspring is smarter than he is.
