Best to you and yours.

I know a lot of folks swear by Corbon. I am not one of them. In my experience their ammo as lacking in the accuracy department.
For example, in my Glock 30 45acp, they Corbon 165gr +P will only get groups of about 5" at 7 yards and the 185gr isn't much better. Not to mention the violent flash and recoil.
The same gun however will put a mag full of just about anybodies 230gr jhp in one ragged hole at the same distance.
Pretty much the same results with my 1911's as well.
Bottom line, find what runs 100% in your gun and has acceptable accuracy because the name on the box won't mean anything if the gun jams or you miss the target.

Quote: "Officer replied no thanks because usually it keeps traveling after its first encounter and may injure inncocent bystanders. "
Methinks this probably a myth perpetuated by repetition. Too bad no one asked him for actual documentation of such an event with Cor-Bon 357s. In reality, the probability of injury to innocent bystanders is far, far greater from rounds that MISS.
Even if the man was about to serve a warrant, I would not be influenced by such a lame remark. Unfortunately, lots of these type comments get floated around local gunshops by folks who don't have a clue how much Cor-Bon and others have invested in R&D over the years ...
If the .357s were Cor-Bon's "hunting loads", yea, overpenetration could definitely be a problem. But, traditionally, their defensive JHPs have been known for expanding right up there with the best of the breed.

Use the Pow-r-Ball
I use the CorBon PowRBall in my .40 SW and some short barrel 45 ACP 1911 style handguns. They feed reliably. I am not concerned about overpenetration with pistol ammo. Besides, isn't one of the premier responsibilities is to know what is behind your target??????
