Mailman just brought license!

Info:
Application mailed in August 4
License received today September 22
Total time to process (including mail time) 49 days.
Seems like they are working it down.

Possible factor that may have affected time:
* Had old expired Texas CHL license -- they may have had some of required background info already. [did not renew within specified period for renewal]

BTW new license same number as old expired one.

Personally, I think you've been sending Simone flowers and chocolates!

Congrats!

Did you cross out the number on your application and write in the number from your expired license? I am in the same boat you were in, and sent in my renewal (actually a re-apply) a couple weeks after you sent yours. I did not cross out the new number on the application, as has since been suggested to me, but stated on the application somewhere "Reapply license # etc...".

They cashed my check 3 days after receiving my application, so maybe I will have the same luck you had!
