Mighty pretty. But those slick grips would have to go. Slide right out of my sweaty hand. ;-)

I just stuck them on there because they're the only grips I had extra that were cut for the magwell I installed today. :lol:
What I really want are some VZ or gunner grips.

I just bought my second 1911 and it came in last week. This gun shots really well and I'm glad that I bought it. It is stock, and I don't think it is very pretty. However, I just cleaned it and am fairly happy, so...

I'm looking into adding a magwell to it, which will make it from decent looking to ugly. But oh well, gotta be able to change those mags quickly.

Beautiful. Guns are like babies, they are all beautiful & very holdable. :grin: The mag well will ugly it up some by most of our standards but I think you will like the way it loads.

If that's a flyer at 15 yards, I have some more practicing to do. Or a more expensive handgun to buy! (I know, I know, the proper answer is both. ;-) ) Very nice Les Baer, by the way.
