I just got my PIN this week, and now I wish I hadn't. I've definitely made up for lost time by checking at least a dozen times a day. On the bright side, it did help me finally memorize my DL#.

It's finally here! :rolll :anamatedbanana :thewave :clapping: And it only took 115 days to get the plastic in hand!
I did find it odd that it is valid for four years seven months, until March of 2013. I thought they were only valid for a max of four years.

They are valid to your birthday after your fourth year. This means they could be possibly be valid for up to 4 years 11 months. *cough*cough*...This should have been covered under your CHL class....*cough*cough*

But they are good for five years now, anyway.

The change from 4 years to 5 years was made some time ago.

This is another thing your instructor should have known.

I thought that renewals were good for 5 years, but that the initial license was only valid to your birthday after the fourth year.

Congrats Stroke. :tiphat: You have almost the same time frame as me so I am hoping that this will be the week. I have called a few times and always get a different person but they all tell me every thing is in order and they are only waiting on the state background to come back. They do tell me that the license has been sent to imaging but the status on line just stays the same.."processing application". I guess I will call again on Monday to see what is up. From what everyone is saying, Heather is the one to talk to but I never have been able to reach her. Let us know how first time out goes.
