Re: March Applicants
Today at day 108 I got my PIN. Status "Processing Application".
At least it gives me something to do every morning and afternoon.

Re: March Applicants
Still here. By my count it has been 115 days since DPS received my application. I think pigs may actually fly before my application is approved. There was a Dallas Morning News article in the paper today, http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent ... d7d71.html, that stated new applications are taking 80 - 90 days. I am not sure what kind of spokesperson Tela Mange is, but she may have failed math. Most of us are WAY past that window.
Hang in there guys and gals. Best of luck to everyone.

Re: March Applicants
I read in one article that some people who applied in January still have not received their licenses.

Congrats
Re: March Applicants
I thought I read somewhere else, another version of that article, that they were 80-90 days BEHIND, as in, 80-90 days to START processing them. That sounds more like the reality, does it not?graybans wrote:, that stated new applications are taking 80 - 90 days. Re: March Applicants
I think that would be the correct way of interpreting that. And it makes sense with the times we are seeing.mr.72 wrote:I thought I read somewhere else, another version of that article, that they were 80-90 days BEHIND, as in, 80-90 days to START processing them. Using that method I could still have another 30 days to go...

Re: March Applicants
I am starting to think they have as well. I won a gift card from Home Depot at our company picnic last month and used up all my luck. Ever since that things have been going relatively rotten. I am due to call on the 16th for my 3 week follow up and depending on the response I receive I may be calling my representative back and asking him to look into the matter. At this point the timeliness is not really important as I am scheduled to go on a business trip to New York on the 21st for a few weeks and I am not expecting it before then. I just hope it is waiting at home when I get back.longhorn_92 wrote:Have they forgotten you? It sure seems like it...
