License Received Today

#1

Post by cedjunior »

I received my license today, 81 days from DPS receipt of app to my mailbox.

I was a little disappointed though, the license came in a very plain envelope stuck in a very plain white piece of paper. I was expecting a card signed by all the DPS CHL Dept employees saying "We'll Miss You!!" after spending 81 days with them.

I got mine today. Same anti-climactic packaging. 70 days to change in status, and 74 for plastic. Not gonna hear me whining about nothing now. Can't think of a tougher or more excruciating wait. I figure mine did not hit any "bumps" along the way.

Ok, Ok, Yall can stop rubbing it in any time now. I expect mine is in the mail. In fact, if I was home, I would go out and check the mailbox again just to make sure it wasnt stuck way in the back or something. "rlol"

Congrats! Hope your local Wally World has nachos. Mine doesnt. :grumble

Kinda glad you mentioned that the plastic came in a non-descript envelope. I might of tossed it out suspecting it was junk mail.

I am still waiting in "Processing Application" mode. So I know I did not throw it out by accident. I am over 100 days now.

Waiting and waiting..... :headscratch

day 84 here. i sure hope it comes soon. i am glad you mentioned it comes in a plain envelope. now i will pay closer attention, even though the website still says processing. i give most envelopes a little bend to make sure usually but will look closer now.
