Breathe. Inhale, exhale. Relax.

Either that or add a smilie so we know you're being facetious. :smilelol5:

Inhale, exhale, breathe, relax? Heck man, last I heard that, my wife had our son.

Wife tells me I have a dry sense of humor. Seriously though, do I have to call for the PIN?

Thanks Larry

You should receive a letter with your PIN in about a month.

By that time, your status should be "Processing Application".

A MONTH, 6.5 weeks, holy cow  I have heard if you call them you could get the PIN quicker. Any truth to that? Guess I'll just have to kick back, drink a few Jack and cokes and chill. Guess I could get a holster and practice carrying (without the Jack and coke of course)

Well today is my birthday and day 51 waiting for anything in the mail. No PIN yet. Almost 8 weeks and still no PIN or contact from DPS what so ever. Should I bug them or will that tick them off? Anyone, help?

Yep...it makes them mad every time anyone contacts them. Especially Simone. She hates it when she has to stop eating Bon Bons to answer questions from the people who pay her bills. :biggrinjester:

If you request your PIN via email you will get it much sooner - got mine in 48hrs
If you have forgotten, misplaced or never received your PIN, please contact TxDPS via email (chl@txdps.state.tx.us) and include the following information: Texas concealed handgun license number, driver license number, full name and date of birth. Your PIN will be returned in a timely fashion to the same email address submitting the request and in the order your request was received.
