Finally Out of this Room!!!!!

#1

Post by Lobo73 »

Well, I checked my status last night and it was still "Processing Application" and had a free second this morning so thought I'd check again and Bye God, it changed. I'm now officially "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"! :woohoo :woohoo :anamatedbanana :thewave :anamatedbanana :thumbs2: :rolll :cheers2:

I want to thank everbody in the room (guess it's not really a morgue....just seems that way sometime) and hope your wait is not as long as mine was. Just remember to sign page 4 of your web form if you preregistered online before mailing back with all fingerprints, photos, TR100, etc.

Thanks, especially to zx9rt1, BigWorm, CindiSu, milkcartonkid and nedmoore. Ya'll hung with me and kept me from going insane waiting on this day. Now, all I have to do is wait on the actual plastic, but I think I can do that standing on my head!

Keep the Faith!

Congrats on the approval. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully, you'll see the plastic in the next few days.

Well, I didn't have to stand on my head, but I did make some extra trips to the PO. But plastic now in hand!

Here's my timeline:
Class 12/22
Mail app 12/28
App rcv'd 12/31
Status chg 2/20 ("Application incomplete-missing info-detailed letter sent")
Mail info 2/25
Rcpt conf 2/27
Status chg 3/11("Processing Application")
Status chg 4/02 ("Application Completed-license issued or certificate active")
Plastic in hand 4/05

"Wally Walk" report to follow.

Rest of ya'll, keep the faith. Nobody knows better than me, what a wait it can be.

Well, I holstered up and headed out to Wally World. Did every thing on the list, but ride the shopping cart. Everything went well, but I did feel alot of eyes on me. I know that feeling goes away as time passes.

To everybody left in the room, I wish you God speed in receiving the plastic.

I've had mine for 4 months and can affirm that the feeling does in fact go away quickly.

Only to be replaced with an occasional, humm...wonder if I'm printing...

Nobody notices and those that do just have a knowing glint in their eye. It makes no difference either way.
