Are they compliant signs?
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

If not, I would not bring it to their attention. They may just decide to correct it.

Did some searching on the net, it is a nationwide policy for the company,

AMC Theatres
PO Box 725489
Atlanta, Ga 31139-9923

could not find an email.

Well, thats it for me at Willowbrook AMC. Hopefully the new theatre at Northpointe will not be posted when it gets finished. If so we'll just keep hitting the drive inn in Hockley.

I honestly can not recall the last movie I went to see. It might have been "Narnia". Nice movie and family oriented.

The reason I do not go to theaters unless it is something I really want to see on the big screen:

Tickets too high. I can see it on ppv later.
Too many doofi talking on cell phones.
Too many doofi talking to other doofi.
Snacks way too high.

I think the word "doofi" will be around for a long time.

I would not let a non-compliant 30.06 stop me if I want to go in.

I'm headed that way now & I'll check Willowbrook to see if it's compliant. Will snap a photo.

I have been to the Movie Tavern at Richey Rd. on 45 1 time to see something that I now forget. It was posted with the Red 51% sign inside of the theater, not at the door. I asked the manager about it and he said that most of their income comes from sale of beer and mixed drinks.

That was over a year ago. I have not been back.

The signage is non-compliant. The lettering is 1/2" in size except for the capital letter at the beginning of each sentence which measures 3/4".

Will post a pic in a bit. Had a conversation with the manager and she claims the reason for the sign is because they have had to remove several kids with weapons from the theater. The riff raff here at night is bad. I told her that is more the reason I want to have my weapon with me in order to protect my family and myself. I explained what AMC has done is stopped all law abiding citizens from entering their facilities and letting the bg know there are no other weapons on sight. I did ask her if AMC is willing to provide security for my family to and from our vehicle, she saw my point.

I normally visit Santikos theaters in SAT. Not posted. The only posted sign I've seen inside is the TABC required standard sign, "The unlicensed possession of ..." because the Starbucks inside sells alcoholic beverages.

My family and I just left the Santikos Silverado theater in the San Antonio/Helotes area. As stated earlier, the only sign is still the TABC required, "The unlicensed possession of ...." because the coffee shop (no longer Starbucks) serves alcoholic beverages.

My understanding is that the "Unlicensed possession ...." sign is one of the two signs provided by TABC to those businesses they license to sell alcohol for off-premises comsumption or less than 50% for on-premises comsumption.
