Think I got a pretty good deal - Hvy Duty Pistol/Equipment Cases

Harbor Freight Apache Weatherproof Protective cases. Popped up on their 12 day of Christmas ad. Basically half their regular price. Got two for $39.99. Pretty well made. I don't know if they stand up like Pelican or Boyt cases, but I've never subjected the ones I have to really harsh treatment, so I think for my purposes they will be fine. The worst I ever treated a Pelican case was overboard with cameras inside and a fall from the top rail of our beach house. Construction, material thickness and consistency seem similar to Pelican style cases. I'm going to look of Project Farm's YouTube channel to see if he's done any comparisons. They were available in Black and Orange as well as the Tan I chose.

Interior dimensions: 14-7/8 in. x 10-5/8 in. x 6-1/8 in.

I bought a 6-pack of those cases a few years back on similar sale... Offered them to some friends, thinking I'd keep two. I wound up with only 1... they were quite popular.. lol..

I use mine for some amateur radio gear and have been very happy with it. It's survived rain, but I never tried to submerge it... Seems like it could hold up, but, I really don't have that need.

Enjoy the cases.. very decent HF deal.

I bought 4 of these last year and my daughter gave me another 2 for Christmas. They hold up for my uses very well. 2 are used for overflow ammo storage and to carry ammo to the range. The other 2 hold 2 of my 1911's and an XD45 that won't fit in my safe (think I need a bigger safe  ).
I am considering getting another one for my hand tools I carry in my truck.
