I currently carry my snub-nosed Rossi .38 at 4:00 with an IWB Bianchi holster, but am in the process of researching an IWB holster for my Beretta 92FS (actually an M9, but who's counting). Any suggestions?

Comp-tac is very popular around here, and for good reasons.

They make both OWB amd IWB holsters. I have 2 of the C-tac models, one for my G19 and one for my G30.

Shoot a PM to Wildscar, he carries his Beretta in a IWB rig.

And welcome aboard!

Wally Walk Substitute(s)

#8

Post by M9FAN »

Although I have yet to make the official "Wally Walk", I have carried my Rossi snub nose .38 (in an IWB holster @ the 4:00 position) into a local convenience store, a Pearland pizza & brew restaurant, my local barber, and into the new Pearland Bass Pro Shop to shop for various gun holsters & magazine holsters for my new Beretta M9 (92FS). Since then I have carried my Beretta M9 in an OWB holster (@ the 4:00 position) into the Pearland Bass Pro Shop to look around with the wife and then to Gringo's to have dinner. No problems at any venue. The more carrying experience, the more comfortable you are...

Congrats on getting the plastic.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

My toys...

Here are my toys:

Beretta M9

Ruger GP100 .357

Rossi .38 +P

Winchester Defender 1200

Although I've not carried the Ruger, I have concealed-carried both the M9 and the .38. (I think the only way to carry the GP100 here in Houston is during the winter months and via a shoulder holster).

Got my plastic a couple days ago and did some Christmas shopping yesterday at wally world. I didnt do the official walk because I would rather do it with my wife along as my wingman. Did feel a little strange walking through the main entrance for the first time. A guy in a wheelchair was right behind me, was wondering since he was eye level with my belt line did he notice anything? A matter of time to get used to it I suppose.
