Pelosi honors “martyrs of democracy”. Officers who died defending the Capitol on Jan 6.

I would guess these are the officers who committed “suicide “ since then and the one officer who suffered a stroke later that day.

They are really laying it on thick.

Has anyone pointed out to any of the media or Democratic leaders that this is a perfect example of a logical fallacy called post hoc, a short form of the Latin phrase post hoc ergo propter hoc.

Personally, I think they are well aware of this and are knowingly lying and trying to create an incorrect belief in the minds of the public who are not aware of this fallacy. I could be wrong, but it will take a lot of arguing to convince me of it.

I'm convinced that you are not only right, but they are making a career out of knowingly lying and creating incorrect beliefs in the minds of the public.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

In addition, the fingerprints were sent out for ID.

One message was undeliverable, Microsoft returned it with Chinese characters in the message. Funny I’ve never had that happen. Why are the Chinese involved?

Manner of Death was determined very quickly as a Homicide. But that information was withheld until Apri 7, 2021.

Prosecutors admit they have evidence some penetrators were invited in.

Appeals courts ruling they are not that dangerous.

Not getting speedy trials as constitution requires.

Capitol Police Officer who murdered or had a fatal ND of a woman penetratior has been exonerated by Capitol Police.

NBC interviews Capital officer who murdered the unarmed woman or had a ND says shooting the unarmed woman saved countless lives. Apparently this is the sole reason this was the only death at the capital. Had he not shot her, she would have used her military trained hand to hand skills to kill many of the armed Capitol Police officers in the Capitol that day.

Some one correct me but I am told there were Capitol Officers on the other side of the door. Had he missed her he could have shot and killed one of this officers.

When a police officers life is in danger are they trained to fire only once or to fire multiple rounds until the deadly threat is stopped? He fired only once.

Speaking of this Saturday, September 18, from the Military Times:

Capitol Police request National Guard support for Sept. 18 rally backing Jan. 6 rioters
https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pent ... 6-rioters/
The Capitol Police have requested a military presence in their planning for the protest, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Wednesday. “I’m not going to detail the specific request, as is typical ... what I can tell you is, that it will follow the same process that all requests for assistance of the department, when it comes from an outside agency, go through,” Kirby said.
...
In anticipation of a similar crowd to that which descended on the Capitol Jan. 6, protective fencing will go up around the Capitol complex, identical to that which was erected on Jan. 7 and stayed up through the spring.

Former Houston Police Officer pleads guilty to parading inside the Capitol after a plea deal.

Allowed investigators to look at photos on his phone. No photos from Jan 6. Asked if they could look at deleted files, he said yes, and low and behold there are pix of him inside the capitol in his deleted photos file.

I guess he might have been charged with obstruction of justice tampering with evidence as well.

Not a good time to be a conservative.

They need to disarm all Capitol police. I believe the military is not so quick on the trigger to shoot unarmed civilians as the Cap PoPo.

The D.C. Capitol Police welcome their first emotional support animal as the newest officer on their roster:

Trained seeing eye dog finds job comforting Capitol Police officers suffering in riot's aftermath
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/emotional- ... ry-6-riot/
The 3-year-old canine has had a lot of work to do after the January 6 riot. More than 150 Capitol Police officers and D.C. Metropolitan Police Department officers were injured during the violent attack. Since then, more than 70 officers have left the Capitol Police and four officers who responded to the attack died by apparent suicide.

Thank goodness for Lila the Labrador. The CBS article refers to her as a black lab, which I find racist and think CBS should issue a public apology. But at least the Capitol Police now have an additional means to help alleviate the life-changing, disabling stress and PTSD following January 6. It must have been far, far worse than military service in Afghanistan. :waiting:
