The media is still calling this a "botched raid."
The media knows all about “botched.”

Federal judge rules against Houston in latest Harding Street chapter
According to the ruling the civil suit will be handled by the Probate Court so the City
of Houston is ordered to hand over documents to the lawyers representing the Tuttle
and Nicholas families.
The civil lawsuit, filed by the estates of Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas,
has been met with obstacles by the city of Houston from the beginning according
to Mike Doyle, one of the attorneys involved, “This is the fifth time a court has
looked at and said, ‘city you need to start answering questions,’” said Doyle on Friday.

The family is seeking to secure records from the Houston Police Department, including ballistic,
as well as interviews with those involved in the deadly raid that killed Tuttle and Nicholas on Jan. 28, 2019.

“The families are beyond tired of the cover-up at this point. They want answers. Every step of the
way they are obviously happy that the court says no, we are not going to let this stay covered up.
They are ready to get some answers,” Doyle said.

An update the Harding Street Raid
HOUSTON (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — A second police officer has been charged with murder and is among more than
10 other current and former officers who have been indicted as part of an ongoing investigation into the Houston
Police Department narcotics unit following a deadly 2019 drug raid.
Officer Felipe Gallegos was indicted for murder in Tuttle’s death. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.

Five other officers were indicted Monday for their roles in an alleged scheme to steal overtime payments
as part of their work with the narcotics squad.

Three of the officers — Oscar Pardo, Cedell Lovings and Nadeem Ashraf — face first degree felony charges
of engaging in organized criminal activity related to theft of a public servant and tampering with a
governmental record. They face up to life in prison if convicted.

Two other officers — Frank Medina and Griff Maxwell — face second-degree felonies on these same charges
and could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

The news/media is very superficial in their reporting, basically just repeating what the DA gives them.
One line about the new murder charge and paragraphs about the false overtime claims.
I think/hope the civil case will make that information public and result in more indictments.

I'm glad Mike Doyle implicated Lt Marsha Todd, even if he didn't mention her lover Officer Nicole Blankinship-Reeves who in my opinion instigated the whole thing because she was dissed by the occupants of the Harding St home. .

Houston Will Spend More Than $1 Million To Fight Harding Street Raid Lawsuit

City Council on Tuesday voted to spend $1.25 million on a powerful Houston law firm to fight a civil rights
lawsuit stemming from the 2019 botched Harding Street drug raid, in which two people were shot and killed.

In a 14-3 vote, council approved the law firm of Beck Redden LLP to represent its interests in the suit brought
by the families of Dennis Tuttle, 59, and wife Rhogena Nicholas, 58. Prosecutors say former Houston Police
officer Gerald Goines shot and killed the couple during the raid.

I am certain that the City of Houston will spend a lot more than $1.25 million on this lawsuit.

I predict the case will settle out of court with the usual non-disclosure agreement.
We may never learn all of the details of what happened.
I remember Art telling us he would be transparent and release all the details...yeah...laughs.
Please know and follow the rules of firearms safety.
