Bill to allow schools to teach a gun safety course to first graders.

Seemed like a really good idea.

No chance of passing

Oregon becomes first state in nation to ban single family zoning.

Coming to a progressive city near you, except Houston which has no zoning and is protected by deed restrictions.

Man and wife on date night beaten by angry drunk mob at a bar for wearing a MAGA hat in Portland.

Bartender said it was their fault for pointing at the hat and saying something.

Note to self: don’t wear a MAGA hat on date night.
Note to self: don’t live in Portland.

Three girls who posted rape awareness signs in girls restrooms, suspended by school for bullying.

"A 15-year-old girl was suspended for bullying after trying to draw attention to what she believed was an unaddressed problem of sexual assaults involving students at her high school."

Even though the girls did not name the school's apparent rapist, or who the victims were, he felt he was being bullied by the sign's appearance in the girls restrooms and went to the authorities and complained.

Portland passes Green New Deal. New $60 million carbon tax against large corporations (apparently a tax against Walmart) money will go to create green energy in neighborhoods of color. I think. Hard to tell.

Gateway Pundit's view.

Be interesting to time travel twenty years and see what America looks like. More of the same. Or Texas is like this. Wonder if we will have guns?

There is no such thing as a free lunch. So, either Walmart will raise local prices or Walmart will move outside of the reach of the City of Portland. It is just like raising the minimum wage to $15/hour. Businesses will either raise prices, replace labor with machines, move, or close. Do nothing but absorb profit erosion was never an option.

Portland sets up its own autonomous zone in park across from Federal Courthouse.

They have not stopped rioting since day one of the George Floyd protests and it appears they have been mentioned here rioting off and on all the way back in 2017.

I’m originally from Portland and 52. I can remember protests and rioting clear back to a little kid. You automatically avoided downtown during elections and any special “green” day.
