I just checked ammo man and they have 124 grain fmj PMC 9mm at 430 dollars for 1000 rounds. That's 21.50 a box of fifty! Wow! But they do have some.

I see it at about the same price at bulkammo.com. And it's in stock as well. I'm tempted to buy some just to load up on inventory, but at the same time, I still have a pretty modest amount of 9, 45, and 5.56 stashed already. Modest by Texas standards, of course. Nancy Pelosi would have my place raided if I were still in Kali.

But you know what's super scary? A 1000 round case of Blazer Brass 10mm is $379. Since when did 10mm become cheaper than 9mm?

Maybe it has to do with the declining popularity of 10mm. Supply and demand. So many people are clamoring for 9mm they can almost sell it for what ever price they want and someone will fork over the money.

Finally a justification for me to buy one!

Hahaha... I dunno. I looked at getting a 10mm maybe 15 years ago and decide to go with the more common caliber 40 S&W because of ammo availability. The calibers were so close, the popularity of the 40 over the 10, made me think the 40 would always have more ammo options and cheaper ammo. But that was before ammo shortages.

This is part of the reason I have kept a single .40 handgun around along with a conversion barrel in order to shoot .357 Sig out of it. I figured I have four calibers I can shoot (9mm and .45ACP being the other two) if pickings get slim. I guess the next step is either get a 10mm or a .38 Super conversion barrel. Oh, I forgot about .45 Super as well.
