In other news, New York governor Mario Cuomo holds a lengthy press release this morning where he announced that the state will need not 110,000 hospital beds as previously projected, but 150,000, and that the prediction is the state will need 30,000 ventilators but has only a fraction of that. And that the peak requirement will come sooner than expected, in 14 to 21 days. Cuomo laid into President Trump for not invoking the Defense Production Act immediately in order to force companies to drop what they're doing, retool, and work 24/7 on building ventilators.

Then he contradicts himself by saying that these are complex pieces of equipment that take over 10 days to manufacture, and that New York will need a minimum of two weeks to get them deployed. Wait. Somehow 10 days plus 14 days equals 14 days? I'm confused.

His big push was for federal ventilator supplies. He said the feds have 20,000 ventilators in inventory, but that all HHS recently sent to New York was just over 400. He said New York state was the "canary in a coal mine" in this situation. That they were the epicenter of infection and will peak at a far faster rate than any other state and have far more need of ventilators. Therefore, his demand to President Trump was that all 20,000 ventilators in federal inventory be sent immediately to New York.

All. As in every single ventilator in federal government control. Right now. But Cuomo did promise to send the ventilators along to other states once New York is done with them.

Coumo or DiBlasio could have put some pretty good brakes on the WU-Flu if he would have shut down the fetid petri dishes public transit. It amazes me that they allow these human sardine cans to still be in operational.

Houston has more than 2.6 million people with only 199 cases. Collin county has 780,000 people with about 40 cases. Neither of these numbers calls for shutting down our economy. This is a seriously stupid over reaction. Politicians are playing us all. They did not give a tinkers damn about swine flue and far more people died of that. America is a big country. Areas like New York who have a huge immigrant population that has traveled back and forth to China. New York even laughed at warnings about cornhole virus in January and had their big "we are woke" celebration of Chinese New Year. Leftists love forgetting details like this. New york needs to be walled off from the rest of the country. But shutting down counties in Texas over cornhole is just ridiculous.

So far it is taking out all the right people. New York and Kalifornia where they brought this on themselves. A few less votes from those two garbage pits might make up for all the illegal alien votes they throw in the pot. The vast majority of the country has VERY LOW numbers. How many traffic fatalities are there in the US every day? Maybe fewer of late with fewer people getting out, but the last death toll I saw from the ChinaVirus was 400 deaths in the US. Until proven otherwise, I'll continue to believe that this was no accident, and again I'll remind everyone that China is the largest contributor to the DNC. I believe the goal is more about the economic impact than anything else. And the demo-commies wasted no time in politicizing and drumming up a national scare crisis. I certainly won't discount the possibility that Biden, now that he's in the catbird seat, will end up choosing Ho-Larry as his running mate. Angela Lansbury's performance is scary-close to Ho-Larry who is the modern day equivalent!
