Houston has 8 cases.

People are posting pictures of no toilet paper in the stores.
The stores have been out of hand sanitizer for some time. There is also no disinfectant wipes. Target was out of bar soap with disinfectant, but they still had TP.

Costco near me was out of a lot of stuff including rice, kraft Mac and cheese, cup of noodles, baked beans and bottled water.

Prepping is now mainstream.

No disrespect to anyone, but the hype about Covid-19 is way over blown IMHO. The Flu kills thousands each year. This panic, and it is a panic, has been seized upon by the media as a way to bring down the economy and hurt President Trump's chances for reelection. In the process, I have lost a years worth of income out of my retirement accounts.

The hype is predictable, but sad. I'm sorry for the victims, but what about the thousands that die from the common flu every year? No hysteria and panic over that. Just settle down people.

At first I jokingly referred to this as Captain Tripps from Stephen King's "The Stand." If I would have known how blown out of proportion this would be, I would have just kept to myself. I did think this started in a Chinese lab but now i think it may have been a coincidence to be in the same town because if it were designed, it goes to show that the Chinese are good at copying but not creating. I apologize for what could be stoking the hype.

Looks like black friday.
Because people are unprepared for anything they have no idea what they might need an just buy whatever everybody else buys. I buy my TP at Sams so I always have enough to last a few months.
