So you'd rather we sit idly by while Iran escalates the havoc? According to the story, it took exactly zero troops to take out this terrorist.

Yeah, we're the problem...right.

That is not what Grayling is saying. If Iran wants to war we need to end it swiftly and convincingly. Then we need to get all our people out of there. Let them kill each other.

Got it. My apologies and totally agree

How can you tell if they are mad at us now? Asking for a friend.

There may be no really good choices here, but clearly some are worse than others …

We could leave the Middle East to sort itself out, but we'd have to be prepared to deal with an area dominated by Iran.
And, what would we then do when Iran attacked Israel?

3 Americans killed in an attack on a Kenyan military base.

The attack was carried out by the militant Islamic terrorist group al Shabaab, affiliate of Al Qaeda.

May not be related to Iran. Sometimes terrorist groups don’t like not being in the news, when other groups are monopolizing all the attention.

Bad guys, need to be exterminated.

It hasn't got a thing to do with being mad. We are the great satan. We represent what is good and Christian in the world. We are infidels and must either be converted or killed. They will not stop until it is finished. There are no real moderate sects. All are Islam.

Now I've got "Jingle Bombs" stuck in my head. (due to some language in the song, I decided it was inappropriate to post. It's easy to find on youtube though)

Complain? Who knows, escalate probably! U.S. can bring far more varied and powerful weapons than Iran can! They should quit while they can!
I don’t entirely disagree, but consider histories, capabilities, and methods..... the Iranians who have most to fear from America's war-making capabilities and methods are Iran’s leadership and military. The Americans who have the most to fear from Iran’s war-making capabilities and methods are average American civilian citizens. Our nation fights wars primarily through normal military channels. Iran fights wars by proxy through terrorist organizations. We kill enemy combatants, they kill civilians.

Whether or not a war with Iran is winnable (in purely military terms, it absolutely is), and whether or not it’s advisable (that’s legitimately open to question....as should be ANY war), we shouldn’t ignore histories, capabilities, and methods. If they bring even a small terror capability to our shores, it is civilians who’ll pay the price, more so than our military.

I don’t say this to argue one way or the other about a war with Iran. I say it only to caution all of us against getting salty without a thought for consequences.

If there must be war, unrestrict the rules of engagement and fight it Schwartzkopf style.

NO MORE obama style fighting with suffocating ROE.
