Mailbox thief (MBT)) driving around stealing mail on Christmas morning. Mailbox owner confronts MBT, thief hits MBO with car, MBO shoots MBT-now-Aggravated-Assaulter several times in torso. Both go to hospital, MBO with non-life threatening injuries, MBTNAA status unknown. MBTNAA will be charged with aggravated assault.

MBO needs more range time or different gun!

I will call several hits in the torso against an opponent inside a vehicle that eliminates the threat and sends him to the hospital a very good score in combat shooting.

There are many many SD attempts that don't score any hits, and plenty of examples of vehicles being shot multiple and tens of multiples of time yet getting few nor no hits on the target within.

I don't know, but the way the goofy laws work concerning the USPS, the MBTNAA guy might be better sentenced with stealing MAIL rather than Aggravated Assault.

Mail theft - federal charges, possibly multiple counts if thief was in possession of multiple peoples’ mail when caught.
