Houston area loses its second police officer.

RIP
Harris County DA’s Office filed a motion for denial of bond for Tavores Henderson, the man who ran over and killed Nassau Bay Police Department sergeant Kaila Sullivan on Tuesday, fled the scene, and then hid and evaded arrest for two days of a manhunt. Henderson is a serial criminal, was already wanted on a forfeited bond in Montgomery County, and is a documented gang member.

Court Magistrate Colin Amann set the bond at $150K. And LEOs are justifiably outraged. The Houston Police Officers Union wrote:
Should PC Court Magistrate Colin Amann resign, after setting cop killer Tavores Henderson’s bond at $150k? Or should he be fired before he has a chance to resign? None of us voted for this appointed “magistrate” to have a job or to set bonds. Colin Amann has to go.

Mother and boyfriend arrested for helping son evade arrest. Drove him to a motel to hide out. Motels have security cameras. Looking for a third person shown driving a Cadillac.

Charges upgraded on son to Capital Murder, no bond now. But we got to see the original Judge as he really feels.

Turned out that standup citizen Tavores Henderson also had a revoked/forfeited bond in Galveston County for felony theft. When the Harris County DA got the charge upgraded to capital murder this morning, that removed the stupid $150K opportunity and Henderson currently sits in lockup with no bond available. Thank goodness. So this guy was out there running around free with revoked felony bonds and warrants outstanding in both Montgomery and Galveston Counties, and then murders a police sergeant in Harris County. And people sometimes ask me why in the world I feel the need to carry a gun.

Watch as two men break into a house with a ring doorbell. They notice the doorbell and duck underneath it not to be seen. This was at 7 in the morning. Fortunately the woman who lives alone had already left for work and got to watch it on her phone.

Everyone needs a gun for protection.

I don't know why they felt the need to duck under the ring. They were wearing full cover up so there is no way of identifying them anyway.

I always enjoy the creeping around walk they always do. It's like they will be invisible if they do that.

Little ice cream store in Montrose repeatedly burglarized and robbed.

Apparently burglarizing places of business in Houston is just the norm now.

And MOM, who bonded out, was already out on bond because she attacked an elderly person in October, plus has a long criminal history. The nut didn't fall far from the tree.

The Ring doorbell has two-way communication. I would have yelled at them just to see if it would scare them away.

Here is a link with a little more information. It was...you guessed it... THREE PIT BULLS. It seems when the mauling ends in death, it is always Pit Bulls.

Yep. And it seems a lot of the anti Trumpers on Facebook also feel pitbulls are maligned and post pictures with newborns snuggling with them.

3 masked armed men break into a house a 1:30 am while the homeowner was out and who watched it on the ring camera. Tore up the house took nothing.
