2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...

MaShirley - it’s a tough call. By the time you get the info, send it in, and it gets routed to the right person, you are probably saving a day or two at best. On the other hand you achieve some certainty that they aren’t waiting for more info.

The risk is that sending them info could trigger additional wait for them to review as well.

I would personally wait until after day 60 and if not resolved submit then. But, it’s a tossup.

Don't send anything. I just got off the phone with a DPS rep. I sent in my LTC100 documentation on 1-26-19. I received the confirmation email on 1-28-19. When I contacted them on 2-6-19, they told me that the began processing my application on 2-5-19. I sent them my disposition paperwork on 2-12-19 thinking it would speed up the process. Ha! The rep that I just spoke with said that it started my processing timeline over on 2-14-19.

Ugh, I've been renewing since 1999 and I thought it'd be a cakewalk this time, but nope, have to go get fingerprints despite doing it numerous times since 99... what a PITA

Renewal submitted on 1-26-2019. Went to print on 3-26-2019. I have several months before my LTC expires. I never wait to the last minute to do things. Oh, called my state representative on the 45 th working day, that got things moving.

I followed your lead and called my State Rep's office and told them about the situation. Went back and forth with his Director giving her my info so she could call the LTC office and by the end of the day she informed me that it's being taken care of. Received a call from the licensing office today informing me she had be contacted by a person on behalf of the Representative and that my background and prints have been cleared and that the license has been mailed out. Anyone dealing with a long wait should definitely go this route to expedite the process.

Today is day 62 for me. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and asked if they needed any additional paperwork from me. They said they had everything they needed and my application was being processed. I never received anything in the mail either requesting more information.I gave them a couple of days extra and still no movement on the status of my application on the website. So, I called my state representative and gave them my application number and other relevant information they asked for. They said they would be calling over to see what the hold up was.

Nice update here. I called my state representative yesterday and discussed the wait time. The lovely lady I spoke to said she would call the dps first thing in the morning. This morning, she called, and also the dps called. Dps said they took care of my application first thing this morning and should receive my license in 7-10 days. I was calling just to make sure there wasn't any error on my information, which there wasnt. But she did say, anyone with any kind of blemish on their record will tend to take a little bit longer.

Day 36 still no change...stuck on background review while everybody (5 people) I know that took the course in march has received their license already. I'm thinking I should've went with them when they took their course.

I have a misdemeanor criminal trespassing arrest from 1998 and a forgery of a financial document charge that was dismissed in 2000. Looks like I will be waiting for some days.
