Will the original mp shield fit in a Kydex holster made for the shield 2.0?

Yes. They only changed, the trigger, and the amount of stippling on the grip. The overall dimensions stayed the same.

I’m tempted to sell my original for the 2.0 :)

I bought an original a couple days ago and have yet to shoot it. The trigger doesn't seem that bad so far to me. I'm thinking it will suffice for up close and personal work.

The Shield 2.0 slide has a few ripples on the slide that's not on the 1.0

I’ve got the 1.0 gen 2. The trigger is actually very good for a striker fired gun. I don’t have any issues.

Or just drop in an apex or monarch trigger upgrade.
