Well im back here again. I had a CHL in TX before when i was active military and in the state 10 years ago but let it lapse once I was no longer in the state. I have only been waiting a week as of today all is green expect for background and issued. Latest ticket was 10 years ago in texas for speeding had it deferred, other then that a MIP for achohal almost 20 ago. I did list it as an arrest but was only issued a citation in New Mexico and also had it deferred. My only concern is that it is not on record anywhere and i know this for a fact as my current job requires a very extensive background investigation, and was told there is no record. Any ways ill just wait my time and see what happens.

My wife and I took the LTC class on 10/13. We uploaded our completed paperwork that night as our other documents were already submitted. My wife who has no criminal history received her LTC on 10/22. I had two class C misdemeanors in Illinois from the mid 1990's and nothing since. Mine LTC just arrived today 11/14.

Not too bad of a wait considering some of the other stories I've read on here.

Well print pending according to the website. Looks like about 2 months figuring on 2 weeks for printing and mailing. A lot better then back 10 years ago when it took 6 months or so.

Maybe even quicker than that from what I've read. My mail had issues last week, and party of that is because of the way I have to get mail. But my print pending was only that way for about 5 days. Then it changed to mailed. From several of the responses I saw here, their status didn't change until after they received their license.

But either way, at least you know it's eventually on the way.

That would be pretty awesome I haven't had the need for a LTC until I got out of the military and moved back to Texas. When I got back I drug my feet on applying. I will update when I get it in hand. To keep an updated time line on here.

Got it today. Just a little over one month. The processes and system seems to be a lot better then it was in 2009.

I submitted application and finger prints around 8/2017. I received the confirmation email that they needed DD-214 and LTC-100. I finally sent these in 12/3/18. I've gotten no status updates online for a week. Is it possible my application expired?

12/28/18 - Application Submitted (including class docs)
1/02/19 - Prints submitted

Called DPS to confirm all necessary documents have been submitted and was told yes.

As of today, 1/24/19, no plastic and no updates on online.

Yes. Start a new app. The training is good for two years, and fingerprinting/application/etc is good for one. Start a new app and send it all in together.

Actually, if I recall correctly, the training is only good for one year (changed in the last legislative session). I'm sure I read that on here somewhere and confirmed it myself, but I don't remember where it's stated - perhaps the Administrative Code.

Hello....My wife and I submitted all paper work and prints Jan 28 2019, and she has received her license on Feb 14th. Mine on the other hand is still under review. Granted my wife is 24 and has a clean record, she has moved quite a few times in the last 5 yrs along with multiple jobs. Im starting to think that doesnt matter too much. Me, on the other hand, 35 yrs old, has moved 3 times in 5 years, same job for 8 yrs...The only thing is I had a DUI 7 yrs ago which was reduced to Obstruction in the highway. Would that be delaying my review right now?

I think I was right at the 60 day mark. I also have a misdemeanor so it tends to take a little bit longer. My wife got hers in 2 weeks exactly.
