Geez, an innocent woman is dead in a t-bone car crash when a 14 year old driver runs a red light after being chased by a man with a gun who drew it after other teens in the car threw eggs at his car as they were driving down the road.

What is wrong with the world anymore. Is it the wild west now. Two wrongs do not make a right people. Aggh.

Do we believe the teens who were driving illegally and supposedly threw eggs and then ran a red light and killed someone? They claim that their first victim drew a gun. We should believe this why? I would not rush to judgement on whether an unknown man "pulled a gun" and got away. Perhaps but that's their story.

I am very skeptical of the teens story.

They must have busted that story! Sad the truck driver had to pay the price of their stupidity.

14 years old. Driving. Parent's vehicle. Middle of the afternoon. Throwing eggs at other cars. Threw eggs at a "late-'70s-model Lincoln."

There's a strong chain of stupid in this story, that ends with a family grieving a loved one.

Crazy.

Unfortunately this is a new trend on the east side of Houston. Just yesterday I saw a black jeep with 4 kids hanging off the sides of it. They rolled up on an elderly lady and egged her in a gas station and left quickly.

Egging was quite popular in the mid to late 70's. It has been awhile since I have heard of it resurfacing.

Would I shoot at someone who egged my car? No. But that has zero to do with the law. I am just not that anxious to shoot my firearm. Some folks seem to look for a reason.

They charge the getaway driver with murder if a bank guard is shot and killed during a robbery, so why don't they charge the egg-throwing criminals with murder if their getaway driver kills somebody?

I believe their confession. I believe they were committing crimes and they killed an innocent women during the commission of those crimes.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Guy who “brandished” his gun and chased the 14 yo driver, who then ran a red light and killed an innocent woman has been indicted for manslaughter.

They did not call it brandishing the DA called it: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Also left the scene of the accident and failed to render aid. Didn’t say LTC.

According to the DA, the guy didn't just pull his gun: "He pulled out a firearm. He fired shots at these kids." He didn't say how he knows this, if it was testimony from the kids or other witnesses.

Multiple stories in the press. Some say he flashed a gun, some say he fired at the teenagers. Who knows the truth? Not out there yet.

I thought that's only required if you're in a vehicle involved in a collision.

Are they going to charge everybody who drove past without rendering aid?

I agree, the video didn’t show his car being a part of the accident.
