That’s where it sound like the tournament was and the video where you see them playing and hear shots in the background however; according to the article the shooting was “inside one of the restaurants in the Landing."

EDIT: I've now read and heard multiple reports and it sounds like it was in the gaming area

This is awful. I lived in Jacksonville for 5 years and spent my fair share of time at the Landing. A lot of great memories there. Prayers going out to the victims and their families.

Oh it has already started... The Tweetidiots have already started. They are calling for gun reform now and commenting how the killer used "a laser targeting device" to kill the people. The obvious implication is the laser makes the gun so much more lethal. Its amazing the guy didnt kill hundreds with that kind of lethal weaponry

Oh no, it was a combination of gun and violent video games. They have been yelling how the violence in video games causes kids to become immune to normal feelings and think violence solves everything. And everyone knows how violent football is. It causes all those terrible concussions resulting in permanent brain damage.

The liberals could not ask for a better mix of things to blame.

On a side note, one of the posters on another forum I frequent pointed out that if they had just given the loser his participation trophy, he probably would not have gotten upset and started shooting.

Florida doesn't have an enforceable sign like 30.06. Signs don't apply to CHL. At least that's my understanding.

They do have a prohibition against carry in an area primarily devoted to serving alcohol. So in a restaurant that serves, you can't carry in the bar area.
