Today in Trump's 1st term as President

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
In addition to the ill conceived and poorly executed disgrace of an immigration policy this week, there were 2 announcements from long standing members of the conservative establishment that publicly announced their withdrawal from the Republican Party, and went the extra step encouraging voters to vote for democrats against trump this year, and in 2020.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... 21faec994d
Republican strategist Steve Schmidt announced and stated that he saw the current trump controlled republican party as “a danger to our democracy and values.” and the party in general as “filled with feckless cowards who disgrace and dishonor the legacies of the party’s greatest leaders.” Ouch!
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... 9a9172479f
the other is long time conservative George Will, who urged a vote against the GOP this november, and referred to "Ryan and many other Republicans" as "the president’s poodles." Again,, Ouch!
Apparently there are a few who believe as I do that there may be some things more important than the economy.... but the way things are shaping up, trump seems determined to simultaneously engage the EU, Canada, Mexico, China and India in a full blown trade war. Not sure how that can be positive for the country. On the up side I do begin to more fully understand why trump has been forced to declare bankruptcy 4 times, and learning is always a good thing. So Much Winning!!!

try to get educated beyond swamp creature talking points. The reason you don't get it has to do with lack of education my friend. Apply the above for a week or two and see if you get over it all.

Here is a good starting point for why President Trump likely knows exactly how to make our country great again. WINNING is good.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders , Trump’s Press Secretary, was asked to leave a Virginia restaurant because she works for Trump.
The Restaurant has had to close its yelp page after 10,000 negative reviews. Some one hacked their web site and changed the menu to include erectile disfunction.

Barack Obama - 2009
Jobs lost: 4.3 million
Unemployment: Rose from 7.8% to 9.8%
S&P 500: Ended the year at 1,115.10, up 23.5%
GDP: Down 2.8%
Donald Trump - 2017
Jobs created: 2.1 million
Unemployment: Fell from 4.8% to 4.1%
S&P 500: Ended year at 2,673.61, up 19%
GDP: Up 2.3%
Looks like winning to me.

Is it not amazing how liberals show their true colors when under the pressures of truth. They are so tolerant it just makes me warm inside.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 11:10 pm http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... urant.html

It's not policy, it's the law.philbo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 8:12 pm In addition to the ill conceived and poorly executed disgrace of an immigration policy this week, there were 2 announcements from long standing members of the conservative establishment that publicly announced their withdrawal from the Republican Party, and went the extra step encouraging voters to vote for democrats against trump this year, and in 2020.

George Will is a never trumper. Probably one of the first recipients of an "atomic wedgie" in high school.
Same with Steve Whatshisname.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Is it not ironic that liberals want to stone a guy for not creating a cake that goes against his moral beliefs and then refuse to serve a person over their political beliefs? The hypocrisy of the left has become so obvious. If nothing else is accomplished we should all thank trump for flushing these phonies out of the bushes.carlson1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 11:21 pmIs that called tolerance?philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 11:10 pm http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... urant.html

Hmm. I always thought these guys were highly respected conservatives.
What about conservative Krauthammer? https://whyy.org/articles/rip-charles-k ... ed-us-all/
Or conservative David Brooks? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/09/opin ... icans.html
Conservative ideology, anyone???

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Maybe you should apply some balm and look beyond the sycophants talking points for facts or cherry picking facts and unsupported conclusions (or delusions as it may be) as trump has a tendency to do. Here are a few:03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 10:55 pm The reason you don't get it has to do with lack of education my friend.
GDP by year (although a quarterly check is a better indicator, but you would like those charts less)
I hope trump's number increase or at least remain flat, but a trade war with all of the US's large trading partners at the same time smacks of a lack of understanding on a colossal scale. But, it's possible that trump might back out of those tariff threats like he did the immigration after realizing it wasn't popular. Have to wait and see. As far as my education... I was at least smart enough to get my advanced degrees from somewhere other than trump university.
Oh, you forgot to mention all the jobs he saved in china by removing sanctions against ZTE for trading with terrorist nations. That was really making america great. So Much Winning!
Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Trumps choice of implementation was a policy decision that could be changed, or muddled up, by an executive order. I have never stated that trumps choice to pursue a zero tolerance policy was illegal, it was entirely legal. I have stated that the optics were bad, and lo and behold, trump agreed by reversing course when it proved unpopular. That's a problem with a populist, they have few if any convictions and pursue a course that feeds their ego. That's what makes them dangerous and untrustworthy. Give me a true conservative any day.
Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Better are the hypocrites who support a cake maker (and I believe the USSC got that one right), but not a private business owner for exercising their right to refuse service. Take a look in the mirror, the reflection is your own.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 11:37 pm Is it not ironic that liberals want to stone a guy for not creating a cake that goes against his moral beliefs and then refuse to serve a person over their political beliefs?
