In addition to the ill conceived and poorly executed disgrace of an immigration policy this week, there were 2 announcements from long standing members of the conservative establishment that publicly announced their withdrawal from the Republican Party, and went the extra step encouraging voters to vote for democrats against trump this year, and in 2020.

Republican strategist Steve Schmidt announced and stated that he saw the current trump controlled republican party as “a danger to our democracy and values.” and the party in general as “filled with feckless cowards who disgrace and dishonor the legacies of the party’s greatest leaders.” Ouch!

the other is long time conservative George Will, who urged a vote against the GOP this november, and referred to "Ryan and many other Republicans" as "the president’s poodles." Again,, Ouch!

Apparently there are a few who believe as I do that there may be some things more important than the economy.... but the way things are shaping up, trump seems determined to simultaneously engage the EU, Canada, Mexico, China and India in a full blown trade war. Not sure how that can be positive for the country. On the up side I do begin to more fully understand why trump has been forced to declare bankruptcy 4 times, and learning is always a good thing. So Much Winning!!!

Is it not ironic that liberals want to stone a guy for not creating a cake that goes against his moral beliefs and then refuse to serve a person over their political beliefs? The hypocrisy of the left has become so obvious. If nothing else is accomplished we should all thank trump for flushing these phonies out of the bushes.

Maybe you should apply some balm and look beyond the sycophants talking points for facts or cherry picking facts and unsupported conclusions (or delusions as it may be) as trump has a tendency to do. Here are a few:













GDP by year (although a quarterly check is a better indicator, but you would like those charts less)


I hope trump's number increase or at least remain flat, but a trade war with all of the US's large trading partners at the same time smacks of a lack of understanding on a colossal scale. But, it's possible that trump might back out of those tariff threats like he did the immigration after realizing it wasn't popular. Have to wait and see. As far as my education... I was at least smart enough to get my advanced degrees from somewhere other than trump university.

Oh, you forgot to mention all the jobs he saved in china by removing sanctions against ZTE for trading with terrorist nations. That was really making america great. So Much Winning!

Trumps choice of implementation was a policy decision that could be changed, or muddled up, by an executive order. I have never stated that trumps choice to pursue a zero tolerance policy was illegal, it was entirely legal. I have stated that the optics were bad, and lo and behold, trump agreed by reversing course when it proved unpopular. That's a problem with a populist, they have few if any convictions and pursue a course that feeds their ego. That's what makes them dangerous and untrustworthy. Give me a true conservative any day.

Better are the hypocrites who support a cake maker (and I believe the USSC got that one right), but not a private business owner for exercising their right to refuse service. Take a look in the mirror, the reflection is your own.
