I live in Irving and work in Coppell. I'm looking for a shooting range with a LTC class and range instruction as I'm 20+ years out of practice.

Any suggestions in the mid-cities DFW area near the airport?

We have classes out at the Dallas Pistol Club, Belt Line & 190.

They aren't in the area of Coppell, but I've taken several classes from them and highly recommend them. I drive from Arlington to Prosper for their classes. Others on the forum have also taken classes from them.

Shootsmart.com has a location in Grand Prairie.
I'd trust them to put on a good class, although I've never taken a class with them.
My wife took her class at their Alliance location and was very impressed.
FWIW, she's in the corporate training /education business.

I second Eagle in Lewisville. I just completed my qualifications last week there.
